Camden Carers Voice
Camden Carers’ Voice (CCV) is the forum for all carers and former carers living in Camden, or caringfor someone who does. It meets five times a year to campaign and lobby for carers’ rights.

Camden Carers’ Voice is carer-led, drawing on everyone’s skills, talents and abilities. It is run by a Steering Group which represents the interests of carers. Meetings give the opportunity to:
-
Meet and talk with other carers
-
Meet Council officers and service providers to share experiences around what is offered and to
know about and inform change -
Find out more about what is available
-
Campaign for change and better provision for carers and those for whom they care

Meetings focus on current issues affecting carers such as:
-
Changes in services in health care and local care strategy
-
Key legal information around Wills and Trusts
-
Benefits for carers and those they care for
-
Carers from CCV were asked to participate in focus groups and consultations including housing
for the elderly, day centres, financial contributions, vision for Camden 2025 and Careline.
CCV wants to know what issues are important to you. So if you want to get involved, and perhaps
